Berjaya Praslin Resort, Anse Volbert Village (Praslin)

I had a wonderful stay at this colonial-style hotel, located just a short walk from one of the best beaches on the island. The staff made us feel right at home, and the breakfast was delightful with local music playing. Although the Wi-Fi was a bit slow, it didn't detract from the overall experience. However, I did note that some facilities could use an update.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and honestly felt a bit let down. While the pool area was nice and the beach had potential, the staff at reception seemed disinterested and the breakfast was chaotic. The room was decent but lacked local charm and I didn't appreciate the unsettling feeling from the numerous safety signs. Overall, it’s an okay spot for a short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything longer.

I had an overall wonderful stay at Berjaya Praslin Resort. The staff made me feel incredibly welcome, and the ambiance was perfect for our New Year’s Eve celebration. However, my experience with the room was less than ideal due to cleanliness issues and a noisy air conditioner. Still, the access to beautiful beaches and local convenience stores was a huge plus.

I found the hotel disappointing overall with my stay. The rooms were in poor condition, with dirty sheets and outdated decor. However, the proximity to Anse Volbert beach was a huge plus, and the friendly reception staff helped make the experience a bit better. The value for what we paid was questionable given the cleanliness issues and that Wi-Fi was only available at the reception.

I had an amazing time at the resort! The beach at Praslin is undoubtedly one of the best, and the staff made me feel right at home. While the initial check-in experience was a bit rocky and service varied, I found the location and overall vibe quite appealing. I would recommend visiting for its beautiful ambiance, despite a few minor issues with service here and there.
